Level 3 Award in Assessing Vocationally Related Achievement
This qualification is intended for those who assess vocational skills, knowledge and understanding in environments other than the work environment (for example a workshop, classroom or other training environment).
It also provides candidates with in-depth knowledge and understanding of the principles and practices that underpin assessment.

How this course is structured
To be awarded the Level 3 Award in Assessing Vocationally Related Achievement, learners are required to successfully complete 2 mandatory units:
- Unit 1: Understanding the Principles and Practices of Assessment
- Unit 2: Assess Vocational Skills, Knowledge and Understanding Entry Criteria
The qualification is designed for learners aged 19 and above. There are no specific recommended prior learning requirements for this qualification. However learners may find it helpful if they’ve already achieved a Level 2 qualification.
